How to Get Above Average Results

by | Jul 22, 2022

This month I’ve been talking a lot about next-level actions to get even better results from your fitness and health habits.

You’ve probably noticed a theme: it’s all about the fundamentals.

That’s because even the best ‘next-level’ actions won’t do much if you aren’t nailing your basics most of the time.

But what if you ARE covering your basics and want to ramp things up even more?

This is when you can turn into a mad scientist to find your own “secret formula” for supercharged results.

How to get the ultimate results

Your top tip for becoming a successful biohacker? Experiment with ONE new method, food, supplement, or other variable at a time.

If you change too many things at once and get a boost (or a downturn) in your results
how do you know what caused it? This is a common theme with many of our clients who are so motivated and want to drastically change many things at once. However, when you start making one micro-change at a time, you can start identifying which variable actually serves you well.

Example: Let’s say you start drinking a new superfood greens drink every morning
at the same time you switch your workouts from night to morning.

Or you start intermittent fasting and cut back on cardio at the same time
or you go on a major kick and switch EVERYTHING up all at once.

Suddenly, you notice your energy level changes. Either it goes through the roof or you can’t make it till 8 o’clock without your eyelids starting to droop.

How do you know what to credit or blame for these results?

A simple way to start biohacking is to find your ultimate breakfast or lunch. Experiment with different meals for a few days to find out what keeps you feeling full and energized the longest.

It sounds like a small thing, but it can make a HUGE difference in your day!

If you’re looking for that “next-level” edge, one of your most effective strategies is to work with an experienced coach.

The right coach can help you level up your basics for incredible results

and then layer in some tried-and-true “extras” that’ll have everyone asking you what you’re doing differently.

Did you know that July 22nd is National Mango Day?

Growing up in India, we had mango trees in our yard and I would eagerly count down to mango season every summer.

Mangos are delicious and packed with nutrition. They are an excellent source of vitamins A, C and folate. They also provide vitamin B6, copper and fiber. They can be enjoyed as is or tossed into a salad, salsa, grain bowl, tacos, smoothies and many other creative ways.

Here’s a fun recipe to try that is perfect, especially on a hot day.

4-Ingredient Homemade Dairy-Free Dole Whip *
*Recipe courtesy of Dole

Ingredients:
3 cups frozen DOLEÂź Pineapple Chunks
1 cup DOLEÂź Pineapple Juice
1 cup Coconut Milk Creamer or Oat Milk
Ÿ cup frozen DOLEÂź Mango Chunks

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately by scooping into a bowl or piping from a pastry bag with a start tip for a fun Dole Whip inspired visual.
  3. Store in a freezer for up to 2 weeks.*

Note:
*In order to achieve soft-serve consistency when taking out of the freezer, place 2 cups of frozen base into a blender with 1/4 cup of Dole Pineapple Juice and blend until smooth and soft again.
